Erdevik Winery connects a historic Srem cellar with a modern estate approach. Count Livio Odescalchi built a cellar and winery in Erdevik in 1826, beginning the institution that the present producer treats as its foundation. Today the winery combines that heritage with contemporary production rather than presenting itself as an unchanged nineteenth-century operation. The estate's single 40-hectare vineyard block lies at Breskvik above Krčedin, on the right bank of the Danube and close to the 45th parallel. Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah grow on layered alluvial, clay and limestone soils, with much work done by hand. The official site does not clearly document current public tours, restaurant service or walk-ins, so contact Erdevik before travelling.
