About the Winery
Vinarija Aquila is a family winery located in Bogojevce, at the entrance to the Leskovac basin in southern Serbia. It was created from the Nikolić family’s long-standing ambition to produce high-quality wines from grapes grown on their own estate. The winery combines modern technology and contemporary oenological knowledge with the viticultural traditions of previous generations. Its vineyards belong to the Babičko wine-growing area and lie at approximately 274 metres above sea level, where the sunny climate and ripe grapes provide favourable conditions for concentrated and expressive wines. Aquila works primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Its portfolio includes Bastion, Uvertira, Barok and Modus No. 1, representing red, white and blended styles shaped by the terroir of the Leskovac region. Visitors are invited to explore the winery and its vineyards by prior arrangement.
