Leskovac
Vinarija Mitrović, legally registered as Hrusija d.o.o., is a modern winery founded in Leskovac in 2021. Situated on the eastern edge of the city, it produces more than 25,000 litres of premium wine annually, reflecting the character of the Vinaračko–Milanovačko wine-growing area within the Leskovac wine region. The identity of the winery is closely connected with the history of southern Serbia, Justiniana Prima and Emperor Justinian, reflected in the concept “Wines of Emperor Justinian” and the distinctive presentation of its bottles. The principal wines are Imperijum, a varietal Cabernet Sauvignon; Monogram, an aromatic blend of Muscat Ottonel and Sauvignon Blanc; and Simfonija, a red blend led by the Serbian variety Prokupac with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The winery also has a tasting room where visitors can discover the wines, learn about responsible wine enjoyment, explore wine and food pairing and become acquainted with the culture and history of Leskovac and southern Serbia.
