About the Winery
Vinarija Šveljo is a small family winery in Riđica, near Sombor, in one of Serbia’s smallest recognised wine-growing areas. The family inherited its vineyards, replanted them in 2011 and registered the winery in 2018 after production developed from a hobby into a formal business. The estate is especially associated with Sauvignon Blanc, while its public presentation also includes rosé and red wine. Riđica’s sandy soils and long local viticultural tradition provide the setting for the family’s current work. Šveljo also presents the winery as a venue for birthdays, private celebrations and weddings. These are organised events rather than a guarantee of unrestricted visits, so guests should contact the winery to confirm dates, capacity and the available wine programme.
