About the Winery

Vinarija Tonković was founded as a family project in 2006 with a focused goal: to revive Kadarka in the sandy landscape of Bački Vinogradi near Palić and Subotica. The variety, once strongly associated with this area, defines the winery's identity. The cellar is built into a dune, using the terrain to create stable conditions and a distinctive architectural relationship with the vineyard. Tonković presents Kadarka in several forms, including a blanc de noir, rosé and different red expressions, allowing visitors to compare how one grape changes with style and cellar treatment. Winery tours and tastings are available by arrangement. Confirm the date, language and current wines before travelling. The visit fits naturally with Lake Palić and other producers in the Subotica–Horgoš wine area.
